Raining here today... guess I'll rest up.
Yesterday we received the 16 LED light tubes to replace all the florescent tubes in the closets & laundry room. This morning, I removed the ballasts & rewired the 4 fixtures (which took about 15 minutes each). After installing the new tubes, I can say that these 'bulbs' outshine our old F40T12 fluorescent lamps by an order of magnitude. The light is fantastic, way better than fluorescent. They come on instantly and are nice & bright!!! God, I love LEDs!!!
Watered all the trees, flowerbeds & hanging baskets.
I like those but I need something with a larger lip around the can hole as who ever put in the cans did a crappy job and the small led replacement lights don't hide the poorly cut holes.I would highly recommend the Luminaire DL6D-x13W Can Light Conversion Kit wolffman. They will give you a very 'finished' look & are dimmable with a TRIAC based dimmer.
Very nice! I'm ready to come visit now!Sanded/primed the 1X2 supports for the coated metal shelving.
Drilled holes in the new bed frame & attached the headboard over at the guesthouse (I was holding off until the new mattress was delivered to get the height correct). We're still waiting on the table (which is suppose to arrive on Friday)... after I finish it & the coated metal shelving in our closet, I told Mrs. Ranch that the rest is on her (I got stuff I want to do outside). I'll start painting during the cold weather & not until... I hate painting.
