Ordered a case of 3" shotgun shells. They were kind of hard to find... probably due to the unrest lately.

Cleaned & refilled the hummingbird feeders.

Cleaned the chairs on the back porch while Mrs. Ranch washed the cushions.

Sprayed RoundUp around the yard & garden.

Fed the cattle.

Watered porch pots & hanging baskets.

Made spaghetti squash & salad for supper tonight.

Spent yesterday troubleshooting a check engine light on Mrs. Ranch's Jeep & got an EVAP cannister ordered. Then did the monthly maintence on all the computers.

Today I went & picked up the PVC pipe & fittings to continue with my irrigation valve replacement. I also watered the porch pots & hanging baskets.

Processed 7 more spaghetti squash.

Cut the grass.

Fed the cattle.

It's fixing to storm here... Temp dropped 14 degrees & the winds are blowing. Time to disconnect the internet.

The storm yesterday gave us an additional 0.06" of rain, but the winds snapped a section of the flagpole off!!!

Processed more spaghetti squash.

Installed the EVAP cannister on Mrs. Ranch's Jeep. That didn't fix the 'check engine' problem so I ordered a purge valve as I don't think a vacuum line has a hole in it.

Watered porch pots & hanging baskets again as 'hotter-that-hell' week is upon us.

Harvested tubs of tomatoes for our mail lady.

Continued digging, but I didn't last long in this heat. I was sweating so bad that my shirt was like a 2nd skin that I had to peel off.

Been a very busy & HOT week here, to say the least.

Harvested more tomatoes for the mail lady, did some spraying, put up the federal eagle at the guesthouse entry & the new flag pole at the main gate. Also a lot of watering & cooking!!!

Watered the flowerbeds.

Made bread.

Made a pot of no-bake 'baked beans'. Mrs. Ranch says they smell good, so I hope I don't disappoint her...

Fed the cattle.

Started shredding the middle pastures.

A pot of baked beans? What is your recipe? I don't think of baked beans in a pot.

Watered the porch pots & hanging baskets. It's another day of 100+ degrees...

Fed the cattle.

Replace the shear bolt on the shredder & continued cutting the middle pastures until I got too hot.

Watered the porch pots & hanging baskets, then started watering the front trees. As luck would have it, we got an unexpected 0.12" while I was doing it, LOL!!!

Did the weekly shopping.

Made a spice/raisin cake for dessert. Mrs. Ranch is in charge of frosting it.
