Do Pinto Beans Need a Trellis?

My pinto bean plants have developed spirals that are grabbing onto my purple hull peas like plants that need a trellis and want to climb. They have become quite entangled with each other. Do I need to build a trellis for my pinto bean plants?

Depends on your pinto bean type. There are bush (determinate) and pole (indeterminate) pinto beans. The pole beans will need stakes or trellis for support.
