I'm looking at having a seafood boil for a few friends in a few weeks. Ordering the Bayou classic basket and planning on using shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, corn on the cob.

Anything else you guys suggest for a boil?

Mudbugs (if you can get them there), smoked sausage & clams/mussels will all work. Heck we even throw in whole artichokes, celery, onions & lemons here. Whatever is in season & plentiful...

Hot dang that looks good! I'm not sure where we can get mudbugs around here but I'll check.

Mushrooms are always good in a seafood boil. I also use a grapefruit in the boil.

Just a single grapefruit? Never heard of using that in a boil before.
