This year I am trying two trellising methods and both are new to me. These are for my big indeterminate tomatoes
1 - Single stem wrapped around a single vertical cord. I have both 1/4" sisel twine and a vinyl coated cable as the vertical cord
2 - Use green plastic florist tape to tie the vine to a pipe driven into the ground. This was what @w_r_ranch recommended to me
=====
The vertical twine took longer to set up initially but is proving much easier for me. I can easily give the vine a half twist around the cord while walking past if it is needed where I need to find the green tape and use two hands to tie off the pipe tied trellis.
