dehydrating cantaloupe

@w_r_ranch any tips for dehydrating cantaloupe? Last week it seemed like it took a really long time. Ultimately I want 1/4" cubes to use for granola bars. Should I slice in rounds dehydrate a little then dice further and complete dehydrating?

I would slice them 1/4 -3/8" thick & then dehydrate them. When you make your bars, you can then dice them to whatever size you want.

They do take longer to dehydrate, as the are 90% water...

I just sliced a melon 1/4" thick and started the dehydrator at 135 F.
