So last year I modified a storage container and added a CFL bulb to start my seeds which worked surprisingly well and I started this season with the same setup. What I noticed was the plants looked a bit leggy to me, probably due to the distance of the bulb at the top of the storage box and the plants at the bottom.
I've been wanting to change my grow light setup anyways so i can accommodate more plants and finally did this evening.
The setup:
1x - 4ft Fluorescent shop light
2x - GE Daylight T12 bulbs, 2,900 lumens 6,500k
1x - 4 shelf chrome shelving rack
I want to add a second light fixture for the same self to have light throughout the entire depth of the shelf as well as pick up some reflective film.
