Painted the deck

Sunday the wife and I spent the day painting our deck. Between the weather, foot traffic and constant traffic from our two dogs, it was long overdue for attention.

It's a bit worn but hopefully it will last us another year or two until we redo the back deck entirely. I'm wanting a covered deck!

Thanks guys! It will certainly do for my sons first birthday party. I'm more looking forward to redoing this massive thing and maybe even going composite in the future! :D

My decks have Red Cabot stain on them and the stuff keeps coming off. It doesn't peel it just wears off where the traffic areas are. Let me know how that paint stands up. I am Leary of using paint because of the extreme cold here on a flat surface which will be frozen for 7 months lol.

Home Depot sells Behr Deck Cover that looks like it would last much longer than paint or stain. It's thick and reminds me almost of Rhino liner you see in truck beds.
