Currently, I’m working on a new machine to add to the lineup. This is a small, bench top ammunition packing machine that handles 300 cartridges/cycle. This will suit smaller operations, gun ranges or customers wanting to handle specialty cartridges.
I have a rifle packing machine in the works. Last week, I cut a piece that will become a plug for a mold to be used in a rotary cast resin process. The 3D surfacing for this part took over 12 hours to complete on the CNC router. Plenty of hand work to be done on this part in the future.
It's been super busy around here. 7 days a week for a long time now. I'm working on finishing up a project for a customer in Montana, and then I'll be starting on a large package for a customer in South Africa.
These are some inspection blocks I've been machining for 357 Mag, 44 Mag, 44 Special and a few other long, rimmed pistol cartridges.
