Burned the trash.

Put dye in the stock tanks to knock down the aquatic weeds.

Fed the cattle. One of the calves didn't make it... I found what's left of him stretched out in the back pasture.

Started shredding the front pastures.

Cleaned/refilled the hummingbird feeders.

Continued shredding the front pastures. I was unable to finish due to the heat (only 94 degrees but with a heat index of 113 degrees). It was just too hot out there on the tractor...

I'm glad I don't have to cook tonight, we have enough to last another 4 or 5 days, LOL!!!

Went to the feed store to pick up molasses tubs & mineral blocks. Also picked up a 1X2 so I can make the forms for the 'seed block project'.

Watered the trees/lirope & porch pots.

Started harvesting the spaghetti squash.

Received the canopy for the Gator late last night so I spent the day installing it. It was proufly made in the USA, but I highly doubt that the instructions were... they were terrible, really excruciatingly terrible.

It rained 0.64" in spite of the forecast saying 0% chance...

Made bread.

Made a butter pecan cake for dessert.

Processed the spaghetti squash & vacuum packed it.

Cut the 1X2 strip & fabricated the seed block forms. We now have 3 of them ready to go.

Modified our neighbors flagpole as I did ours. In the process, I added another 5' to it, installed new rope, flag clips & a Texas flag.

Fed the cattle, then put out the 2 molasses tubs & 4 mineral blocks for them. I finished just in time too, as it is now raining.

Did the weekly shopping. I had to go to 3 different stores to get what we needed... this is ridiculous. Since this stupidity seems to be getting worst, we're going to start stocking up again on everything. I bought 3 cases each of paper towels/toilet paper & 24 pounds of coffee.

Rained another 1.26" in the afternoon here.

Painted a picture frame & a basket a light gray that will be the base coat for Mrs. Ranch. These will than be sprayed with complimentary color for her new color scheme.

Applied 3 coats vegetable oil to the seed block forms that I made the other day. I hope this will act as a release agent.

Brought up & cleaned 6 more big potatoes that Mrs. Ranch will bake to go along with our supper. Also took about 20 lbs of the smaller ones down to our neighbors.

Made stuff jalapenos.

It was called 30-Second Outdoor Cleaner. All it contains is common bleach (5%), but as you know, bleach was hard to come by due to the scamdemic. Plain old bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite), with a squirt of Dawn dish soap, is about half the price.

I did find gallons of 10% bleach at Walmart in the pool supply section last month for the same price as the 5% bleach. This is the more cost effective route to take if you can get it. Just mix it with a 1:4 ratio instead of 1:1 to achieve the same 2.5% solution.

Applied the gray stone finish to the picture frame & a basket that I base coated yesterday. Then applied a base coat to a waste paper basket & a candle holder base.

Made a carrot cake for the lil' boy down the road.

Made my 1st seed block to test the recipe & process.

Made bread.

Applied the gray stone finish to the waste paper basket & the candle holder base that I base coated yesterday. Then applied 3 coats of a clear matte sealer to the picture frame & the ceramic basket to finish those 2 items up.

Removed the seed block from the form & put it out. Mrs. Ranch will monitor the bird's taste test. I also refilled the feeders per request.

Went to town to get a haircut. Then stopped to get another tire pressure sensor (valve stem) replaced.

Prepped & seasoned a 2" sirloin steak that I'll put on the smoker for supper tonight.

Brought up & cleaned more potatoes as Mrs. Ranch is going to make potato salad.

Sprayed 3 coats of a clear matte sealer to the candle holder base & the wastepaper basket to finish those 2 items up.
