Weekly shopping, topped off fuel in Mrs. Ranch's Jeep & then stopped off at McCoys to pick up some odds & ends for my various projects.

Fed the cattle.

Fixed our oldest cooler (40+ yrs old). The plastic outer shell has developed cracks, so I filled them in with 'Lexel'.

We got 0.09" of rain this afternoon when the cold front arrived.

It's 56 degrees with 15-20 mph winds out of the north here, so there will be no outdoors activities today...

Fabricated backer plates for the mailbox topper. I beveled the edges to fit the curved contour of the top of the mailbox & then drilled/tapped the holes. Lastly I treated them with acid.

Helped Mrs. Ranch changed the sheets on the bed.

A chilly 39 degrees this morning, but at least the wind has laid down...

Took the 20# propane tanks to town to get them refilled.

Fed the cattle & put out another roll of hay.

Topped off the fuel tanks in both tractors for winter.

Received the new pear burner & the new Weber gas grill regulator.

Put the insulated window covers up in the greenhouse & vacuumed it out as winter is coming.

Fed the cattle.

Re-insulated the irrigation riser in the back yard flowerbed.

Woke up to 52 degrees, a north wind 15 MPH & a light rain (0.23").

Researched & ordered formed plastic letters for a new ranch sign. Then removed & prepped the stainless steel hardware from the old one for reuse.

Put the Christmas tree up per request.

Woke up to 43 degrees, a northeast wind of 6 MPH. Dieter says it nippy out there...

Went to pickup another load of feed & then fed the cattle.

Made a butter cake with chocolate frosting for dessert.
