Made another buttermilk pie for our desserts.

Continued working on the greenhouse tables. I previously decided to reinforce the legs & had to shorten them to add horizontal supports (the fittings arrived today). BTW the heat index was 111 degrees...

The last Christmas gift has arrived. We're glad it's finally here & we're eagerly awaiting her reaction (it's custom made leather coat)!!!

Refilled 2 of the hummingbird feeders & put up an additional one. 'Bird Watchers of America' said the average hummer consumes .46 ounces of nectar per day, so using that formula (128 ounces divided by 0.46 per day), we estimate that there are 278 birds here right now.

Went to McCoy's to pick up 5 more sections of PVC pipe for the greenhouse tables.

I was surprised at how cool it was this morning (62 degrees). It almost felt nippy in shorts!!!

Made an anniversary cake. It was 19 yrs ago that they started their journey...

Refilled the hummingbird feeders as needed. The cold front that came through drove half of them off.

Continue working on the greenhouse tables.

Seasoned up 4 chicken breasts & put them on the smoker for our suppers.

Cut & tapered the last section of PVC pipe for the greenhouse tables. Then assembled 2 more of them.

Spent the afternoon watching the tree guys take down 14 dead trees. They'll be back tomorrow to grind the stumps down before starting the trimming.

Picked up another load of cattle feed.

Spent the rest of the day watching the tree guys do their thing. The stump remover was impressive, being both remote controlled & in it's speed/power!!! The tree trimming is also great & will make shredding so much easier!!! They are doing a fantastic job!!!

The county fair was this weekend, which means the cattle show. Grandson was disappointed that 'Willie' placed 7th overall... I told him that its OK to feel disappointed (we can't win all the time), especially when the judges don't know how to actually judge cattle. The real determination is when 'Willie' sells & that the buyer knows exactly what he/she is bidding on. Money is more important than a ribbon & a trophy any day. Update: Willie sold for $7K!!! Now he understands the bottom line, LOL!!!

Watered the back yard trees.

Removed the mineral deposits from the last 4 greenhouse tables. I also finally received the correct size "feet" so I got them installed on all the new table bases.

Refilled 4 of the 9 hummingbird feeders.

Made 2 loaves of Italian bread.

Made Italian oil per request.

Cleaned the old greenhouse & put the tables in it. I will do the necessary repairs to it so that we can use it this winter before demolishing it & putting the new greenhouse up in the springtime.

Refilled 3 of the 9 hummingbird feeders.

Did the weekly shopping & hit the package store.

Masked off the wheels on the greenhouse's water dolly & sprayed it with 2 coats of bed liner.

The rear bumper was delivered. I will hold off in the installation of it until the billet aluminum bed hidges arrive in a couple of days. I did mark where I need to drill holes in the frame.

Watered all the trees, crape myrtles, pots & baskets.

Installed the rear bumper on the Defender. I didn't use the hardware that came with it (10mm bolts & rivnuts), I drilled larger holes through the frame & used 7/16" grade 8 bolts, nuts & washers instead. It is rock solid.
