Got one more pecan tree to cut up. Rented a manlift last night and am heading out to see what I can get done. It's on part of my chicken run just south of the coop. Going to be a long day.........

It's was a cool 58 degrees this morning & it made it up to 85 this afternoon.

Did the weekly shopping, got my haircut & filled up my Jeep.

Seasoned up 2 pork tenderloins that I'll put on the smoker (~ 1 hour) for our suppers tonight & tomorrow. Mrs. Ranch made twice-baked potatoes to go with them.

Watered the porch pots & baskets

Got the biggest part of the tree cut up. There is some I am going to have to think about. Too big for just regular cutting. I may be getting too old for this.....I got cramps in arms, legs, arms and fingers.......LMAO......

Picked up some odds & ends at the grocery store.

Made stuffed jalapenos.

Prepped chicken breasts that I'll put on the smoker for our suppers.

Cleaned my grandson's gun as he said it has a cycling problem.

I used leftover wood flooring that has been in the attic for almost 20 years for the walls of the bathroom, hahahaha. Won't do that again, it was a pain in the ass.

Woke up to a decent rain (1.03" thus far).

Fed the cattle.

Fed our daughter's family's animals (dog, goats, sheep & chickens).

Pruned back all of the porch pots & the ferns in the hanging baskets in preparation for moving them into the greenhouse for the winter.

WInd is back out of the north & it was chilly all day.

Fed our daughter's family's animals (dog, goats, sheep & chickens).

Made a loaf of bannana nut bread.

Started making beef/barley/vegetable soup out of the remaining sirloin roast.

Fixed grandson's gun for him. The final resolution was that the gas block was a little loose, so I recentered it & torqued it down. Ops checked it, then called him to come & get it.

Put out another roll of hay for the cattle.

Hit the package store.

Made bread & then stuffed jalapenos to go with our supper. It was challenging as Mrs. Ranch was making pies & buttermilk biscuits today as well.

Grandson came to feed the cattle for us & borrow my batteries for the thermal scope.
