Same here, no rain.

Fed the cattle & then went down to feed our daughter's animals.

R&R the batteries in the smoke detectors.

Applied a coat of the marine epoxy to the pitch fork.

Applied the copper sulfate to the front tank & then got the batch going for the back tank.

Seasoned up a pork shoulder that I put on the smoker for our suppers. Mrs. Ranch is making potato salad to go with it!!!

Grandson came down to feed the cattle for us.

They're trying to blow this 'storm' up into a major event. Too bad for them, it's going to be a big nothingburger because the wind is shearing the tops of any thunderstorms off. I doubt that it will even make it to Texas...

Sprayed more 'liquid edger' around the homesite. It got too hot for me so I quit for the day.

Harvested another bucket of green peppers. Mrs Ranch selected the smaller ones & the rest went down to our daughter's family.

Vacuum packed 4 meals of the smoked pork shoulder, then did the tomato sauce & green peppers from this morning.

Grandson came to feed the cattle for us.

It was/is hot here with 0 wind all day... I've lived in Texas for 34 yrs & have never seen the heat index this high. I took this screenshot at 20:18 hrs. It's unfark'in bearable on the back porch (127 degrees):

We got 0.28" of rain. We're thankful for every drop!!!

Grandson came down to feed the cattle for us.

Hit the package store & picked up some japs while I was in town.

Made stuffed japs.

Seasoned up a sirloin steak that I'll grill for our supper.
