Watered the garden, asparagus, flowerbeds, porch pots/hanging baskets & all the trees/lirope.

Made bread for us.

Made pizza dough & sauce for supper tonight.

Mrs. Ranch portioned out the pears & got them in the freezer. We got another nine 2-pound containers. Tomorrow they'll be vacuum packed.

Fed the cattle.

The cold front has arrived, it's 59 degrees & the low tonight is 41...

Planted green onions, cilantro, radish & red/green lettuce seeds. Then watered the entire garden.

Fed the cattle.

Cleaned the remaining 3 hummingbird feeders for storage.

Started the sourdough wheat dough for tomorrow.

Prepped a pork sirloin roast for tonight's supper.

Planted a few replacement plants from my reserve as the originals were looking bad. Then started mulching the rows.

Made a German chocolate cake for our neighbors.

Fed the cattle & put out another roll of hay.

Burned the trash, primarily empty feed sacks.

Treated the fire ant mounds in the yard. I'll make another pass in a few days.

Made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for our dessert.

Fed the cattle again today as tomorrow it is suppose to rain all day & I don't want to slip in the mud.

Replaced the filter in the well house & topped off the salt reservoir for the the water softener.

Burned the rest of the trash.

Finished the 'begining-of-the-month' chores.

Finally got around to replacing a GFI that I fried when I power washed the house a few months ago. Then replaced the foam gaskets on all the electrical outlets on the porches. I figured after 21 yrs, they probably needed it.

Seasoned up chicken that I'll put on the smoker for tonight's supper.

Fed the cattle.

Borrowed a friend's hay trailer & brought over 40 rolls of hay from the hay pasture. This should last us till next next spring.

Picked up another ton of feed. This drought is making it expensive to maintain the cattle's body condition...

Attacked the gophers in the garden with bombs & treated the mounds in the yard around it.

It started just before midnight here, 0.94" thus far. It's a beautiful, gentle rain!!!

Went to get my haircut, then we all sat & watched it.
