Went on a 3 am call to help find an illegal that ran from the cops, crashed his car and they thought he drowned in a lake. We took and airboat and searched. We found the lake was only 2 - 3 feet deep and found where he came out of the lake and ran off.......FJB and his open borders............

Sounds familiar. 2 nights ago my neighbor called saying the Sheriff's dept was at his door. There was a car crash right down the way and the illegals ran toward our homes. We looked and looked, had the dogs out there too. They got away. Last time that happened I found the 2 coyotes in the bushes and held them at gunpoint until DPS picked them up. FJB some more.

Made bread.

Made a pot of pinto beans.

Seasoned up the beef fajitas that I'll grill for supper.

Did the weekly shopping (3 stores & still didn't get everything).

Put out a roll of hay for the cattle.

Not really. I can get it cheaper elsewhere, but I have to take in consideration the cost of the fuel & my time.

Finished the loaf of sourdough rye that I started yesterday.

Fed the cattle.

Started prepping the spot sprayers for winter storage.

Continued prepping the garden for planting this week.

Fed cattle & put out another roll of hay.

Continued watering garden, then did the asparagus. As it's Sunday, I also did the trees/lirope, flowerbeds & porch pots/hanging baskets.

Harvested a bucket of pears & processed them. Looks to be about 2 gallons per pot when finished.

Watered the garden & asparagus.

Did the weekly shopping & picked up another ton of cattle feed. Price increases on everything. A couple of examples: a sack of feed went from $13.25 to $14.45 (up 9.06% in a week). All-purpose flour went from $17.99 to $23.99 (up 33.4% in a month). It's crazy out there...

Assist Mrs. Ranch in vacuum packing the burgers & the pears.

Trimmed up the garden transplants & then started planting them. I got 40 Brussels sprouts & 20 cabbage in before my back started protesting.
