Ranch I plan on canning tomatoes tomorrow using your crushed tomato recipe that I have used for years. I’m thinking about adding both yellow and zucchini squash, onion, and bell peppers. Have you ever done this? If so, anything I need to know? Thanks..
I don't see why not. While I have never done it with squash, I have done it many times with my GTO sauce.

It wasn't near this bad 25 yrs ago... The motto of most tradesmen used to be, "You have money & I want it".
I had that problem at a Harley dealer.....Asked several times for a price out the door and got piss poor response each time.....Went back a week later and me and the wife got same treatment.....Ended up one over the phone from Javelina Harley in Boerne. Never regretted that decision. The Angleton shop went out of business......Imagine that....

Went & signed for the Can-Am this morning. Easy transaction. I'll pick it up next week.

Harvested tomatoes & prepped them for roasting.

If I lived in Arizona, I'd start a camp to straighten out the troubled youth. Sort of like a basic training for teens. I'd assemble a group of men (drill sergeants, lol) and march these young ones all the way down this trail and then back up. They'd realize what it is to be a human by the time I was done with them.

Harvested more tomatoes & prepped them for roasting. I then combined all the tomatoes in a big pot, roughly pureed them & added the seasoning for Picante sauce. I'll finish it up tomorrow.

Harvested japs & green bells.

Finished making the double batch of Picante sauce. Lots of slicing & dicing, LOL!!! I'll can it tomorrow.

Columbus Outfitters called & said he'd deliver the new UTV on Monday. That is an unexpected service. (y)(y)(y)

The new Defender to arrive was delivered, The 1st thing I did was strip off the government-mandated mesh doors.. Tomorrow I will start installing the accessories that have starting to arrive, LOL!!!

Went to the eye doctor about my cataracts. I'm going to have my lenses replaced like Mrs. Ranch did a couple of yrs ago...

Worked on the new Defender setup. Installed the wheel well flares, the underseat storage containers & the seat belt speed limiter bypass.

Received 0.63" of rain this afternoon.

It's raining again (0.44" thus far)...

Made a butter cake for our desserts.

Took Dieter to the vet for a followup.

Received/installed the mirrors, 2" trailer ball & the cover for a dashboard cavity with integrated cell phone holder on the new Defender. I'm waiting for 1 more accessory that I have one order & it's done. At least until fall when I'll add the front & rear windshields.

Harvested tomatoes that I'll roast tomorrow..

Did the weekly shopping & topped off the fuel in my Jeep.

Prepped 2 more pans of tomatoes for roasting. Afterwards, I froze the 'meats' for later.

Sprayed around garden tubs as I’m tired of weed eating. Tomatoes and beans have stopped producing.Still getting summer and acorn squash, bell peppers and cucumbers. Having cucumber salad, corn, and roasted chicken today. Made a Texas sheet cake.
