The monitor on my computer crapped out this morning. I replaced it with an old one that I hadn't disposed of yet & ordered a replacement.

Watered the garden & asparagus again, as well as the stuff in the greenhouse.

Of couse it started a drizzling rain here about 0930 hrs., just enough to delay my buning out the flowerbeds & continuing with the garden.

Seasoned up a sirloin pot roast for supper tonight. I'll add the potatoes, carrots, onions & celery about an hour.

It's 56 degrees here this morning after the thunderstorm last night (0.58"). Dieter & Mrs Ranch didn't get much sleep... I slept right thru it.

Started 2 loaves of sourdough bread for tomorrow.

Dwayne from Westrn Auto came to picked up the Husky this morning. He thinks it's the starter & said he'd bring it back in a couple of days.

Water the porch pots & stuff in the greenhouse.

Dwayne is a great guy. He has done a lot of work on my Husky’s over the years. Thunderstorm dropped .8 plus high winds and some hail. No damage on tomatoes.

Watered the garden & asparagus again, as well as the stuff in the greenhouse. Potatoes & green beans are popping up!

Made a butter cake with chocolate frosting for our desserts.

Planted a row of 'Bella Rosa' tomatoes & tied them to the stakes.

It started raining ~ 1500 hrs & we got 0.56".

Still raining here today (0.06" thus far). That looks like the last of it... 1.45" total over the last 3 days.

Did the weekly shopping & topped off my fuel tank.

Covered 2 books that just arrived with Mylar before adding them to our library.

Made 2 lbs of pinto beans & a batch of Mexican corn bread for our daughter & the grandkids, as they're all in a fishing tournament this weekend & the SIL has gone to the deer lease for the weekend.

Watered the stuff in the greenhouse.

Yesterday I mostly just puttered around the house...

I fed the cattle & watered the stuff in the greenhouse ahead of the incoming cold front. It was 76 degrees when I woke up.

The cold front arrived ~ 1030 hrs. The temp is now down to 61degrees with a 15 MPH north wind, so I closed up the greenhouse. Tomorrow is suppose to a high of 60 & a low of 38.

Watered the garden, asparagus, stuff in the greenhouse & the front trees.

Cleaned out the burn barrel.

Pruned the root sprouts on some of the oak trees & Crape Myrtles.

Finally receive the 'grab bars' for the Defender. I got the holes drill, but I'm waiting on the black paint to dry on the bolts before I install them (probably tomorrow).

Granddaughter is having another growth sprout, she's now taller that both her mom & me. Dang...
