Made bread.

Mrs. Ranch said we are low on spaghetti sauce in the pantry, so I added the necessary spices to yesterday's plain sauce & now she has what she wanted. Canned it up & got 16 pints.

Ordered the stuff to fix the flag pole at the entry. After replacing the section that the wind broke, I'm going to reinforce it by inserting 25' of 1-1/2 PVC pipe inside of it & then inserting 25' of 1-3/8" galvanized pipe inside of that. Given the outside/inside diameters, that should work & stiffen it quite a bit.

Started working on the tractor again after having to set that project to the side for a while. The fuel tank had some pin holes in it so I cleaned it out real good with acid and then had my neighbor Tig weld it. After that, I poured in a tank sealer which seems to have done a really good job. I first cleaned the tank by mounting it to the rear wheel on my small tractor and filled the tank with rocks and soapy water. It was super clean after this.

Burned the trash.

Refilled the chlorine reservoir on the septic system.

Harvested cucumbers & jalapenos. Also harvested 2 tubs of tomatoes & prepped them for roasting. Since these are going to be used for Picante sauce, I added the necessary spices & vinegar so it can all seep together overnight. I'll finish it tomorrow & then can it.

Took some potatoes, tomatoes & cucumbers to our younger neighbors.

Made stuffed japs to go with our supper

Replaced the battery in my Jeep as it was 4+ years old & I don't want to get stranded.

Processed/roasted more tomatoes. Then froze the meats.

Seasoned up a rack of ribs & put them on the smoker. I got stuck down at the party barn for about 20 minutes because it started raining cats & dogs....

Mounted 2 tactical scopes & boresighted them in. The night vision scope was put aside pending my building a 6.8mm SPC upper.

Finish my Christmas shopping for the kids down the road. They're growing up quick!!!

It started raining about 0930 hrs here... I'll have brake out the chainsaw to cut up 2 big trees that just fell over...

Cleaned the hummingbird feeders & refilled them.

First calf of the year (from our new bull) was born this morning. Mrs. Ranch seized on the opportunity to name it 'Firecracker', LOL!!! All she wanted in return was a pedicure, so I gave her one.

Tour Texas Christian University with my daughter and a few of her friends that is heading there this coming year.
Back to our family fish camp to celebrate their graduation party. I believed this is the biggest crowd that I have ever cooked for. LOL
Wagyu brisket from Strube Ranch. Lemon pepper pulled beef was an absolute hit ! ( Adam brands spices) They wanted crawfish.....crawfish they got.
All were happy, makes us very happy. We will miss them terribly as they venture out to college.

Came home to see that our fruit tree is thriving again after the last freeze in Texas.

Harvested the jalapenos, green peppers & cilantro that I need to finish the Picante Sauce that I started yesterday. After lots of dicing, it's finished & then I canned it. Got 10 quarts out of that batch!!! And that should conclude my canning season. I think I'll celebrate with a margarita!!!

Started raining again here about 1300 hrs...

I think the rain is over for now...

Refilled the redbird feeders & put out another seed block for them.

Drew up plans for a steel target stand & took them down to our neighbor for fabrication.

Yet again, it wasn't suppose to rain, but it did... 0.64" thus far. This is getting old.

Watered the porch pots.

I tried to work on repairing/reinforcing the flag pole at the main gate but the weather cut that short.
