Continued assisting Mrs. Ranch with the Christmas cookies (4 batches of Mexican wedding cakes).

Painted the handle of my garden hoe & started dipping the refurbished tool handles.

Harvested broccoli, cauliflower & cabbage for us & a couple of our neighbors.

Put hay out for the cattle.

Mrs Ranch & I continued making the Christmas cookies (Coconut Macrons today).

Put out the molasses tubs & mineral/sulphur blocks for the cattle.

Seasoned up 4 days worth of chicken that I'll put on the smoker for our suppers. It will be served with baked potatoes & broccoli.

Put the last coat of paint on the handle of my garden hoe.

Made bread.

Did the weekly shopping (3 stores again). I basically did 2-3 weeks worth of shopping because I don't want to go looking for stuff during the holidays & putting up with people's BS. Goods are getting kind of sparse here... Two of our neighbors even mention it when they stopped by this week. I told them that if they can't find something to let me know & I'll see if I can find it for them.

Mrs. Ranch said it's my turn in the kitchen, LOL!!! I'm doing my Italian 7-Layer Cookies. The first 5 layers are done & are in the refrigerator setting up until tomorrow.

I also made a pot of pork & cabbage.

Put out more hay for the cattle.

Harvest another head of cauliflower to go with our supper.

Finished the Italian 7-Layer Cookies by applying the chocolate icing & the sprinkles. Mrs. Ranch sliced them & got all the cookie tins ready so I could deliver them to our neighbors (this is one of our Christmas traditions).

Mrs. Ranch had me rehang more window valences as she had a number of them done.

Harvested 2 more heads of cauliflower.

Sorry to hear you have to buy limes. I still can taste those margaritas you make with your own limes...........Good stuff.......

Refilled the redbird feeders.

Put out more hay for the cattle.

Hung new flags at the main gate & the guesthouse.

Hung the Texas Farm Liability signs, one at the entry gate & the other on the gate at the cattle pen.

Seasoned up a thick sirloin that I'll put on the smoker for our holiday suppers.

Harvested broccoli so Mrs. Ranch can make broccoli salad. She's also making Twice Baked Potatoes as the side dishes.

Went to town to get my haircut.

Worked on cleaning the passenger-side airbag covers on both Jeeps (apparently this 'gumminess' issue plagues a number of different manufacturers). I found a video of the cleaning process on a Corvette site that said to use lemon-scented ammonia. It's time consuming but it works.

Put out more hay for the cattle.

Started repotting the hanging baskets. I got 7 of the 10 done.

Harvested a cauliflower & a cabbage for our mail lady.

Also harvested a cauliflower to go with our supper tonight as I have a new recipe that I want to try (roasting them with a coating of mayo, parmesan cheese & garlic).

Made bread.

Replaced the wiper blades on the truck.

Picked up limes so I can make it through the weekend. Also stopped at the packing house & picked up 2 whole pork loins for thick center cut chops & smoked Canadian bacon. The chops are now in the freezer & the bacon is in the curing brine. Those were 2 of the best looking loins that I seen in a long time!!! Here is what it will look like when done:
