Red Dot???

Yes, it’s a Vortex red dot. I don’t really like the reticle though as it has 2 rings around the dot. Too busy for my taste. But, it will do for what it’s being used for.

Hanging out at home today, resting. Some high winds came thru yesterday and our transformer blew out. Waiting on the diesel fuel transport for delivery. Back up generator ran for at least 5 hours yesterday.
Yesterday I continued detailing my Jeep after I finished detailing the garden tractor.
Today we started the Christmas baking by making 2 batches of biscotti, one with cherries/almonds & the other with pistachio/cranberries. Also made bread this morning.
Made pizza dough & sauce for tonight's supper.

Fired up the smoker & got our bacon-wrapped venison backstraps on at the crack of dawn (1 for us & 1 for our neighbors to snack on). Then did the standing rib roast. These are another of our Christmas traditions!!!

Raining (2.06" thus far) & a cool 43 degrees. Needless to say, I'm not doing anything today...
Started building the vegetable/beef/barley soup for dinner. Threw in the remains of the standing rib roast, along with onions, carrots. potatoes, peas, tomatoes, cabbage & hominy.
Wife did the same the thing with our leftover rib roast, but in a stew. That was good stew. It better be for a $95 cut of meat hahaha.
Started the 'begining-of-the-month' chores

Closed out the 2020 financials & started the taxes.
Completed the maintenance of the computers.
