Yes, I will be. This took longer that I estimated it would. I'm surprised at the amount of quartz in the rocks I've drilled thus far. It took almost 4 hours to get that pair up today. Hopefully the last one will get done tomorrow.

I need to start getting the garden prepped for the fall planting.

Put together another steel shelving unit for grocery storage.

Researched dish washers as the old one's control panel is flashing.

Something got a chicken last night. There’s a spot in the run where a tree goes thru the wire. I had it all wired shut when I built it but I guess the wind moving the tree made a hole big enough for something to get in. I patched it all up. The repair looks like hell but it was a difficult place to work.

Luke held the flashlight and I pulled the trigger on the 12 gauge. It didn’t take long for the little bastage to show up this evening. We both agreed that this was a revenge killing.

I figured it wasn't a coon as there wasn't 10 dead chickens. Them critters kill for sport.

Another possum bit the dust last night. Luke is getting good at finding them in the trees. I’m going to get him a .410 this weekend.

Still working on the garden improvements. Working in the 50 lb of sulphur I added a few weeks back. I got 8 yds of garden soil from a local nursery, it looks like good stuff.

Placed out the garden soil with the small tractor and the dirt scoop. Tomorrow I’ll spread it with the box blade.

Spread the soil on the garden. Going to try to get a few trailer loads of manure this weekend. I have to put a new engine on my tiller too.
