Prepped/roasted/skinned another pan of tomatoes & turned it into sauce all @ 0500 hrs.

Watered the garden, asparagus, crape myrtles, porch pots & hanging baskets.

Made bread.

Made a buttermilk pie for dessert.

Harvested green peppers & jalapenos for Mrs. Ranch.

Refilled the redbird feeders, put out another peanut/seed block for the peckers & cleaned/refilled their water trough. It was a long day...

Blanched & froze the green beans from yesterday. We got another 8.5 pounds of them bagged up for vacuum packing.

Canned the tomato sauce from yesterday. We got 8 more pints out of that batch.

Prepped 16 new rotary spray heads for the trees/lirope. The old ones will no longer reach the outer drip line of the tree's canopies.

Swapped out the remaining sprinkler heads.

Put 2 gallons of dye in the front tank.

Harvested a 5 gallon bucket of green beans for our mail lady. Also picked some green bell peppers, tomatoes & a cucumber for her husband.

It started lightning ~ 1900 hrs & around 2200 hrs Dieter woke me up trying to get in our bed. It then started raining hard (0.31"). On the plus side, I don't have to water tomorrow.

Started watering at sun up, I'm watering everything. The new spray heads work good, so a few days of watering should allow me to drive in the fertilizer stakes I bought last month.

Made our homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.

Made sourdough bread.

While I thought we were done canning, we decided to make picante sauce for our neighbors as we still have plenty of everything in the garden. I harvested another tub of tomatoes this morning & then got 2 pans of them roasted. After skinning, I pureed them & added all the spices. I'll finish this double batch up tomorrow.
