Fed the cattle.

We had a rain shower that dropped 0.08"!!! We're hoping for more!!!

Pressure checked the irrigation valve that I replace & then put the dirt/grass back in the trench. Also located the other leak in the side yard (looks to be a pipe/coupler seperated due to ground movement, so hopefully a simple repair).

Watered the asparagus, garden, back trees & all the crape myrtles.

Formed up 30 hamburger patties from the ground sirloin. Mrs. Ranch will vacuum pack them tomorrow.

Relocated the feed troughs back into the pen for tomorrow. Half of the cattle will be loaded up to go to their new homes...

Refilled the hummingbird feeders as needed.

Rehung hose bracket on the well house & cleaned the hose.

Fed the cattle, then loaded up 10 head & had them delivered to their new homes. The pipe pen/corals made it real easy!!!

Came down off the mountain yesterday. Had to replace UTV trailer tires in Cortez Colorado. Had a good time with several ups and downs. Caught a lot of trout and saw tons of deer. Saw a great 6x6 elk a fellow shot.....Still heading home today and tomorrow. Our worn out motorhome and traveling with momma's 5 ....yes 5 small pups can a little trying.....

Fed the cattle.

Put the dirt/grass back in the trench from the irrigation pipe repair.

Start prepping for the fall garden plantings.

Oh goodie, my DVD came today!!! 'Failsafe - 1964' is going to be our feature presentation tonight... fitting, given the times we live in right now.

Went to the dentist.

Picked up another load of feed.

Fed the cattle.

Fixed the mailbox (the rivet-type door hinges rusted out) & then cleaned/waxed it before putting it back up.

Stopped in a fairly new feed store on 2434 near Columbus. Own and operated by a young couple. Bought 2 fifty pounds of corn for $8.25 a bag. Cheapest I have found in several years. The corn is absolutely the cleanest I have bought for a long time. The corn is cleaned and bagged in Nada.
