Watered the trees, Crape Myrtles, porch pots & asparagus.

Burned out the back flower bed & started burning out the garden, then watered them both as well to put out any 'hot spots' that may feel inclined to flared up. This had to be done & I just wasn't in the mood to be riding the tractor today...

Made a peach cobbler for our desserts.

Refilled the hummingbird feeders & put up 1 more for them.

Found a large red wasp nest in the well house. After initially reducing their numbers with a spray, I dropped a fumigator in there, closed the door & watched the smoke vapor pour out of every crack. I'll do a body count tomorrow.

Here's a small story of luck. A couple years ago a dude contacted me asking for an automotive part. It's a lower steering column bearing for older GM trucks/SUV's. I build a similar product for Jeeps. I ordered a junk steering column from Ebay ($100) for prototyping and spent about a day designing and building the part. Plopped the part on my website and didn't expect much. Well, this year we will do about $500k sales on this item. Lol! I've tried waaaay harder on products with much less success.

Made another pot of pinto beans.

Picked up a load of cattle feed.

Tossed the spider plants on the burn pile & prepped the pots for 2 coats of paint.

Mold & mildew that grows on the secretions from the aphids. Spray your Crape Myrtles with a fungicide to address the mold & an insecticide to kill the aphids.

We have the same issues as you do every year.

I'm getting an intermittent check engine light on the new Defender. I was unable to get the codes via the 'manual' procedure, so I bought an adapter cable (for use with my OBD2 reader) & pulled the error (P0171) that way. I want to know what's wrong with it before I drag it back to the dealer for a warranty repair...

I'm trying to make a new-to-me bread today & even bought a new pan just for the occassion... 'Pain de Mie' a.k.a. the perfect brioche sandwich bread. Mrs. Ranch really liked it!!!

Did the weekly shopping (what a joke, SMH). Came home & ordered stuff online...

Put out a roll of hay for the cattle.

Started shredding again in the back pastures & got 2 passes done before the gearbox on the shredder had a catastrophic failure. We will be so glad when this year is over... This year has been bad luck from the start.

Made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for our desserts. This is Mrs. Ranch's favorite.

Started pruning back the ferns in the hanging baskets in preparation for repotting.
