Wife wanted hay on top of plastic row covering to insulate soil from heat. I decided to hay the whole thing.

Planted the caladiums in the pots on the back porch. We're still try to decide what to put in the pots on the front porch.

Installed the new louvered windows in the greenhouse.

Watered everything in the greenhouse

Mrs. Ranch finally decided on pink germaniums for the front porch pots, so I prepped them.

Back-filled some low spots in the back yard. I'll pick up some bermuda grass seed the next time I go to town.

Made a buttermilk pie for our dessert.

It was a crappy day here weather-wise... all I did was water the stuff in the greenhouse, cut the bay leaf down to the dirt & decalcify the sprinkler heads that needed it. Then I watched 'American Sniper' with Dieter.

Ohhh...That's a beauty Ranch !!
Thank you RL. I assume that your referring to the weapon & not the stand, LOL!!! If so, I'm in the process of building another one just like it.

Also working on a long range competition version with a 24" S.S. bull barrel from Wilson (all the upper parts arrived yesterday). That one will weigh slightly less than 7.62 (see attached).

If I'd had to guess, you are putting together some very fine fire power !

Have a bless weekend Ranch !

Continued working in the garden.

Completed another carbine build. Still awaiting the buffer & butt stock for the next one, which is a full-sized competition rifle (1000 yd +).

Tomato/pepper plants are in recovery mode. Last week, the 5 year old had a complete lapse in reasoning and decided to rip every single tomato plant out of the garden. She got half the pepper plants too. They were strewn everywhere. Luckily, all the root balls were still attached and we were able to get them replanted quickly. Today, they seem to have fully recovered and are starting to put on new growth again. Managed to save 37 out of 38 tomato plants. We couldn't find one of them, lol! Lost all the labeling on the plants, so we'll just have to wait for tomatoes to see what we have.
