Ammo, lots of ammo. When the US dollar loses it's reserve currency status, $1.00 will be worth about 10¢... Ammo will become an everyday currency.

No coon action last night.

Watered the porch pots, hanging baskets, flowerbeds & all the trees.

Started making old fashion sourdough rye bread (this is a 2 day process).

Applied the 2nd coat of acrylic to the shutters.

Seasoned up a 2" beef sirloin that I'll put on the smoker for supper.

Spreading one load of topsoil on the garden to help with PH issues. The garden needed to be raised up anyway. Next week I'll order some decent garden mix and spread that out. The current garden Ph is 8.4 and the new topsoil is 6.4. I'll add sulphur as needed in a few weeks.

No coon action last night. I wonder if I'm out of coons or they just gave up.

Finished making old fashion sourdough rye bread. Yummy!!!

Fed the cattle & put out another roll of hay ahead of the forecasted rainy week.

Applied the final coat of acrylic to the shutters. Then took down the last 2 pair of shutters.

Today I'm picking out tobacco seeds for the spring crop. Not going to plant a fall vegetable crop due to the garden issues. I've always wanted to try tobacco but other things have got in the way over the past few years. I'm going to be growing some varieties for cigars. Also, I figure this would be a good SHTF crop to grow if I ever needed to. Probably worth more than ammo hahaha.

Lost a calf, it got stuck in the mud & drowned. I had to wade in & pull it out. Damn it.

Just about on schedule, the migrating hummingbirds have arrived, so I put up 6 of the big hummingbird feeders. Then refilled the 2 smaller ones & moved them to the front porch.

Refilled all the redbird feeders as they were empty.

Put leather conditioner on my work boots.

Finished heat treating the last 2 pair of shutters. They're ready for the clear acrylic.

Mrs. Ranch finished the biggest quit she ever made. She's good!!!

Drew up a cigar mold and now it’s being built on the 3D printer. Hopefully I’ll be able to use it next year lol.

Mixed in 50 lb of sulphur into the garden soil. As soon as it dries out, I’ll order a load of garden soil.

Made a pot of pinto beans.

Seasoned up the chicken for fajitas. I'll make the ranch rice later.

Went to town to get my haircut & pick up a load of cattle feed.

Applied the 2nd coat of acrylic to the shutters.

Watered the porch pots.

Refilled the hummingbird feeders as needed.

Re-drilled the holes in the shutters to 5/16" to accomodate the new fasteners. Then started re-drilling the holes in the stone to a depth of 2.25"

Made a butter cake w/milk chocolate frosting for dessert tonight.
