Received 0.80" of rain today.

The replacement PSU for the computer arrived so I went ahead & installed it. That fixed the original problem, but now my 3 system fans aren't working... Chasing wires down now... Found the pin-out configuration different than the old one, so I moved the pins within the connector to resolve.

Cool, with a drizzling rain here... Too wet to do anything outside...

Started building the sourdough bread for tomorrow.

Continued configuring the computer's OS upgrade, that I started last month. Finally got the issues squared away, so I made a backup before pushing it out to the other computers. This one was a PIA.

Picked up another ton of range cubes.

Ordered replacement batteries for the gate openers. Hard to believe it's been 3 yrs already...

Watered everything in the greenhouse before turning the heater on (we're expecting some cold nights here).

Fed the cattle & put out a roll of hay.

Got a pot of pinto beans seasoned up & soaking for tomorrow.

Made ranch rice to go with our supper tonight.

Made the pinto beans.

Seasoned up a pork shoulder with Mexican spices that I plan on roasting & shredding for supper tonight. I'm winging this one, so I hope Mrs. Ranch likes it.

Continued spreading fill dirt & pea gravel.

Did the shopping. I had 8 stops to make to get everything. With the exceptions of limes & jalapenos, I doubt that I'll need to make any further shopping trips this year. I'm ready for a margarita, LOL!!!

Fed the cattle.

Put the insulated covers on the hose bibbs.

Dispatched an armadillo.

Continued assisting Mrs. Ranch with the Christmas cookies.

Started another batch of sourdough bread.

Fed the cattle.

Three neighbors came to split firewood, as I told them that they can have as much as they want.

Went to the pharmacy.

Fed the cattle & put out hay.

Topped off the fuel tanks in both tractors ahead of the incoming cold front.

Installed the new batteries for the gate-openers.

Dropped off Christmas cookies & the presents for our neighbors' kids.

Went to town to pickup cattle feed, sunflower seeds (for the redbirds), a bag of red potatoes & liquor for the holidays.

Put out a new seed block for the smaller birds.

The welder delivered 36 sections (1152') of drill pipe this afternoon. He will start building the new cattle pen/working chute next week. It's going to be nice to have the pen that I wished for 20+ yrs ago!!!

The front passed through here @ 1430hrs. The temp dropped from 58 degrees to 40 in 10 minutes & the winds picked up considerably... UPDATE: It was down to 32 degrees @ 1530hrs & 27 degrees @ 1815 hrs.
