Fed the cattle.

Changed the clocks... I'm sure everybody here hates this stupid lil' chore as much as I do.

Continued working on the OS upgrade of the ranch computers. Everything is done/configured, with the exception of the VPN (which refuses to start). At this point, I'm putting this project on hold, so I made a backup & put it away pending an update. I hate wasting 3 days...

Cleaned/bagged the cushions from the back porch furniture & put them in the attic.

Prepped/seasoned a big sirloin that I put on the smoker for tonight's supper.

Put out another roll of hay for the cattle.

Burned trash (feed sacks).

Treated the fire ant mounds that popped up in the yard.

Continued chasing the gophers around the yard.

Refilled the redbird feeders.

Got 14 yards of select-fill delivered so I can continue filling in the low spots. I also got a load of pea gravel delivered.

Went to town to vote & then babysat Dieter, so Mrs. Ranch could go do the deed.

Vacuumed out the garage & greenhouse in preparation for the incoming cold weather... a real cold front is due around 1400 hrs tomorrow. Then put the heater & the fan in the greenhouse. I need to install the insulated window covers on tomorrow AM.

Fed the cattle.

Installed the insulated window covers in the greenhouse.

Cut back the hanging baskets & the spider plants. Then fertilized & watered them before moving them into the greenhouse.

Put out another roll of hay for the cattle ahead of the incoming cold front.

The cold front has arrived, went from 81 degrees to 62 in 10 minutes. It's now down to 53 degrees (@ 1730 hrs).

Ordered another Samsung TV for the guesthouse.

Threw & raked pea gravel in front of the garage. I didn't get far due to the cold winds...

Cut a big pork loin into 16 chops per Mrs. Ranch's request.

Fed the cattle.

Picked up our 'Yellow Granex' onion sets. When I got home, I formed & fertilized a row them. I'll plant them tomorrow AM.

Made an Air Boat forensics run with the County Sheriffs last night. Kayaker had found part of a skull. We carried a team to the site. This was after we pulled a boat in that had spun their prop.. Was a long evening..............

Rainy (0.46" thus far) & on the cold side (41 degrees) here. It looks like we'll hunkered down for the few days.

I had to go to the package store as Mrs. Ranch wanted Kahlua for her coffee.

The new TV arrived this morning. This was the first time we have ever had something delivered by Amazon itself & I was very very pleasantly surprised at the detail of their map-tracking ability (near real time)... I even saw when they turned unto our road!!! The other carriers better take notice.

Watered everything in the greenhouse.

Replaced the 2 muffin cooling fans in the TV stand. Also replaced the battery in the UPS unit that services the TV stuff. I then setup the new TV for use.

Fed cattle & put out hay ahead of the incoming rain.

Cold (43 degrees) with a steady but gentle rain here (1.06" thus far)... Another day of hunkering down indoors.

Made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for dessert.
